I am very pleased to be able to congratulate Limkokwing University of Creative technology on the launch of their UK premises.

It is very fitting that our friends at Limkokwing have take over their building. For over 30 years this was the central headquarters of International House, which has grown from 1 school to over 140 schools in 52 countries.

In this building John Haycraft, who founded International House in 1953, built a world organization out of his vision of educational excellence and his passion for helping people from different cultural backgrounds develop their language skills.

That same passionate educational vision and striving for excellence and extensive support for students is now evident in the work that Limkokwing University does in our former home.

Our organizations are closely linked – the International House affiliates in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta are an integral part of Limkokwing University – and we share the same commitment to educational quality and innovation.

The work that Limkokwing University does was very important in this rapidly changing world. Their concept of the Global Classroom is visionary and exciting, offering new opportunities to students around the world who are looking for a quality education that is designed for the tomorrow’s world.

By bringing together students from different cultures – and facilitating their study in a wide range of international settings – the University is helping to create a new group of Global Graduates ready to take on the challenges that are multi-cultural, globalised world will face in the future.

Once again may I express my congratulation to Limkokwing University of Creative Technology on the occasion of their launch and on behalf of all of International House World Organization may I wish you continue success and expansion not only in this location but also worldwide.
