The computer Games Industry is a significant and developing contributor to the national economy. Games creation requires the collaboration of experts from a diversity of fields including visual and audio design, programming, project management and entrepreneurship.

This highly interactive course, is an excellent primer on all topics surrounding the computer gaming industry. This course is academically challenging and will develop skills in mathematics, real-time graphics, and console game development and hardware architecture. The programme offers students an opportunity to study the interactive design process and theories underpinning the design and development of computer games. In addition to the theoretical elements, students will learn and use software applications to apply their understanding of games technology.

Within this context, graduates entering the industry need to possess a multi-disciplinary background and be masters of current technology to be able to take advantage of opportunities afforded by future technological advance. They possess transferable skills that position them for a rewarding career.

Entry requirements

∙ 3 principals STPM/'A’ levels or equivalent
∙ IELTS grade 5.0 or equivalent

Students with recognised prior learning such as Pre-University, matriculation programme, or a diploma in a related field will be given advanced standing into the degree programme.
