Students who follow an accounting degree usually do so with the intention of going into professional accounting. However, this degree programme, while opening up the opportunity to follow a career in accounting or finance, does not by any means, limit choices to just this area.

Students who follow this pathway will have a good grounding in some of the general principles of management, but with a focus on the skills and knowledge which are crucial to project management, financial management, consultancy work as well as the potential for a career as a professional accountant or working with financial institutions.
